EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR POSITION
Northland Hospice & Palliative Care (NHPC)
Serving the community of Flagstaff, Arizona and surrounding areas for more than 25 years, NHPC is a community-based, not for profit organization, committed to the mission of excellence in end of life and palliative care. Along with its essential mission, NHPC extends its services to include a comprehensive bereavement care program, caregiver support and educational services.
In addition to the home-based program of care, NHPC owns and operates the Olivia White Hospice Home, a 10 bed residence for individuals at end of life, for palliative care or for assisted living needs.
NHPC also operates a thrift store, Hodge Podge, in the town of Flagstaff. Donations are directed to NHPC.
Executive Director Position
NHPC is seeking qualified applicants for the Executive Director position. The Executive Director is responsible for overall leadership of administration, clinical, regulatory, policy and financial direction of the Organization and is accountable for organizational vision and promotion of the Organization to the community. The Executive Director ensures that the hospice organizes, manages, and administers its resources to provide the hospice care and services to patients, caregivers and families, necessary for the palliation and management of the end of life experience. The Executive Director serves as the administrative officer of the Organization and functions as liaison between the Board of Directors, employees and the community.
Executive Director Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and five years experience in health care with hospice experience and leadership or management experience preferred. This includes fiscal oversight, fund and revenue development, policy and procedure and operational planning. Candidates will have demonstrated success in fundraising, endowment, grant writing, revenue generation and profit and loss management. Experience working with a non-profit Board of Directors is preferred.

MOUNTAIN REGION RVP of SALES
The ideal candidate will live in the AZ area. The region covers AZ, CO, NV and UT.
RVP of SALES JOB SUMMARY:
Increase Revenue and Admissions in assigned region. Train, coach, mentor and manage Executive Director’s as Sales Managers. Develop region and site sales plans in collaboration with Executive Director’s and Regional Vice President’s. Manage the Community Relations Representative sales process and the development of new referral sources at the institutional level. Assist in the development of partnerships with healthcare systems. Manage related expenditures in a fiscally responsible manner and in accordance with the Company’s budget. Routine travel required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and knowledge in sales management.
2.A minimum of 3-5 years professional sales management experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3.Demonstrated history of developing sales and growth, with experience in managing sales professionals.
4.Excellent observation, communication, negotiation and relationship building skills.
5.Confidence and demeanor to gain respect of healthcare system executives. Demonstrated ability to communicate within high levels of an organization.
6.Ability to market and deal tactfully with internal and external customers, working in a matrix framework.
7.Creative thinker with the ability to develop and explain service offerings/solutions to potential healthcare partners.
8.Ability to travel extensively within the territory.
